Karen J. Williams

Karen has over 15 years of Human Resources experience partnering with executive leadership teams to drive organizational effectiveness and agile business growth. She has expertise in restructuring, change management, performance management, talent assessment and succession planning, compensation, and HRIS.

She has advised clients at Citigroup, Barclays, and ADP’s Small Business Services division on numerous people initiatives, such as organizational reform for the migration of payroll platforms, reductions-in-force, implementation of a company-wide workforce planning program, location strategy business communications, annual compensation process and reward practices including analysis of multi-million dollar incentive pools, and development and UAT testing of a proprietary online compensation tool. She has also resolved complex employee relations issues and served as a coach for a leadership development program.

With a lifelong interest in learning, Karen received her Bachelor’s degree in English and Psychology from Boston College, Master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University, and Organizational Coaching Certification from New York University. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and Jersey Shore Association for Human Resources (SHRM Chapter), and is a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

Karen is a passionate volunteer in her community. Currently, she volunteers as a job coach/HR consultant for the JBJ Soul Kitchen Employment and Empowerment Team, helping program participants rebuild confidence and develop skills to obtain sustainable employment and career fulfillment. She also consults with them on HR-related matters and program development, and volunteers as an HR consultant for Monmouth Arts, advising them on a range of HR initiatives.

Whenever possible, Karen enjoys exploring the world through travel and adventure with her husband and two sons.
