Patty is a Human Resource expert with over 30 years of experience across diverse industries, supporting senior leaders in maximizing their human capital investment. Her focus is on assessing the HR requirements to support business strategy.
She has expertise in leadership development, coaching, employee engagement, change management, talent acquisition, performance management and workforce planning. She has years of experience with acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, and restructuring as well as start-ups. She is appreciated for her hands-on, no-nonsense approach to human resources and leadership.
Patty has held senior HR roles in large pharmaceutical, biotech, financial services, luxury consumer products and telecommunications industries with name brand organizations, including ConnectiveRx, Dendreon, ADP, Bayer Healthcare, Global Crossing, Christian Dior and MasterCard International. She also spent time with a consulting practice focused on management and leadership skills training and development.
Addressing the important cultural concerns of organizations during times of change and developing leaders for such challenges is a special passion of Patty’s, and she is especially suited to high change environments. She has lead significant change efforts, including building Dendreon’s first biotech manufacturing plant which involved staffing, training and onboarding more than 500 employees in a year’s time. Other change efforts include HR integration work with Bayer’s purchase of Berlex Laboratories, and restructuring efforts at Global Crossing during bankruptcy.
Patty has a bachelor’s degree from St. Michael’s College in Vermont and has studied at the master’s level in psychology at Columbia University’s Teachers College. She is certified as a Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) and Leadership Circle® practitioner.
In her free time Patty enjoys downhill skiing, gardening, and spending time with her two adult children.
