Mindfulness and Neuroplasticity (R2)
In this second session, coach Amy Arvary will work with participants on understanding the concepts of neuroplasticity and how the brain works to be “re-wired.” This will include more strategies for shifting your mind along with information about mindfulness and brain activity. Why Am I Feeling This Way?
Understanding the Stages of Grief (R3)
In almost an instant we feel the world has changed, and it has. We know this is temporary, but it doesn’t feel that way, and we realize things will be different. The loss of normalcy; the fear of economic toll; the loss of connection. This is hitting us and we’re grieving. Collectively. This course is designed to break down the different emotional stages of grief, as well as provide thoughtful insight on how to proactively navigate through the different phases of grief to allow and foster healing, optimism and introspective thought.
Amp Up Your Self-Care to Ward Off Illness (R4)
Contracting the coronavirus or severe illness is something we all worry about to some degree, and yet there are many external factors that are beyond our control. What IS in our control is how we take care of ourselves, medically, emotional, spiritually and physically. This course will arm the participant with creative ways to improve their ability to fight off infection, provide insight on the connection between mind, body and spirit, and give the tools to amp up self-care.
Managing Time and Stress (R5)
As organizations grow and change, it is even more critical that employees work smarter and manage their time well to avoid breeding stress. This workshop discusses the importance of managing time and stress, and not letting it impede one’s mission to work effectively on the job.
Participants will learn how to organize their day so that it is more productive and less stressful, since unmanaged stress can lead to lower levels of teamwork and customer service, diminished employee commitment, and lower productivity. Learn practical guidelines for managing one’s time and handling the unavoidable stress.
Dealing With and Managing Fears
and Anxieties (R6)
The anxiety that society feels is palpable. Often when we feel stricken with fear, we develop tunnel vision which causes us to become fixated on things beyond our control. This can lead to chronic anxiety and emotional unrest.
This workshop provides a detailed breakdown on how the mind responds to crisis, and helps guide the participant to increased self-awareness, mindfulness and inner strength to build and increase personal resilience.
The Art of Staying Positive, Productive, and
Sane During Times of Uncertainty (R7)
As COVID-19 completely travels around the world and brings many into isolation, even while social distancing. It can be extremely difficult for many to not be around people and finding an activity to keep the time moving is critical for basic sanity and emotional health. This webinar will highlight the importance of practicing a positive mindset, and learn ways to tap into our inner mental power to drive improved emotional health and business outcomes.
Design the Life You Love Workshop (R8)
Deconstructing and breaking current reality is necessary to enable us to shift our perspective to see the same things differently, in order to reconstruct a new reality that is more than the sum of its parts. Helping people get focused on what matters most and how they can begin to refocus their life to achieve what they desire.
Three Week Journaling Program with
Jean Rowe (R9)
It’s beginning to look a lot like a different kind of holiday this year. On its own, the season can bring nostalgia (like a favorite song), connection to family and friends and an undercurrent of expectation. There can be an added layer of managing expectations to be positive and happy - especially during a massive life-disrupting pandemic whose expiration date remains a mystery. We may all be trying to appear to look “fine” when, inside, we are not.
Finding peace "from the turkey to the tinsel" is within reach!
Week 1: Adjusting expectations (45 minutes)
Craft an idea of how the holidays can be (vs. how it’s always been). “I can't gather in person with my parents, but I can still make my favorite holiday foods.” There may even be some positives to be grateful for.
Week 2: Traditions and boundaries (45 minutes)
What is at the core of your most important holiday traditions? How can you still make them happen, even if it is different? i.e., I may not be able to trim the tree with my _____, but I can still trim the tree. We’ll also think through appropriate boundaries.
Week 3: Self-care (45 minutes)
Taking care of yourself is just as important as taking care of those around you. What tools can I use? It’s OK to ask for help.
Four Week Developing Mindfulness
with Amy Arvary (R10)
Each week will include a group guided meditation (which will be recorded and shared), and participants are given techniques to begin immediately using throughout the week. They will also share findings collected through the week.
