Carolyn Kaminsky

Carolyn’s HR management experience spans more than 25 years. Her early career time was spent working for leading companies including Becton Dickinson, Pfizer, Lucent and Marsh &McLennan.

In various roles, she focused on leading large-scale HR initiatives in employee benefits, compensation, performance management, succession planning, culture change and integrations. She credits these years for building a solid HR foundation.

After a time, Carolyn heard her entrepreneurial spirit calling and transitioned to a small start-up company. This role paved the way for future opportunities where she uses her knowledge and experience to make significant impacts. Initiatives include leading HR during start-ups,
restructurings, acquisitions, IPO and sale processes. Key companies include Mayne Pharma, JHP Pharmaceuticals, QuVa Pharma, Bellerophon Therapeutics and MaxLite (LED technology).

In the last 13 years, Carolyn has led HR to successfully build small and mid-sized companies as a department of one to leading HR team members. She is passionate about getting the best out of employees through culture building, goal alignment, recruitment, performance, communications and employee engagement strategies. A pragmatic HR Leader, Carolyn quickly builds partnerships to convince others of HR’s importance. Her philosophy in any assignment is to leave things markedly better than when she first got there.

She earned her BS Degree in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Carolyn’s associations include the American Association of University Women, where she coaches and trains women entering the workforce, and CASA of Passaic County where she advocates on behalf of children in the foster care system.

When not spending time with family and friends, Carolyn enjoys watercolor painting and DIY projects.  She resides in Wayne, NJ with her rescue dog, Minnie.
